Once upon a time, I was just like you - someone with a desire to kick some booty in the courtroom but without all the skills I needed to accomplish my goals.

Yeah, yeah... so I had some training. I had gone to law school, and yes, I had even passed the bar exam (on the second try might I add). Still, I didn't have what it took to go into the courtroom, locked in and ready to "kill it," as they say.

What was missing?

I'm not sure, except I didn't have the mojo. I didn't know how to find my flow. Although I had done my homework and prepared and practiced my case, I still wasn't sure how to go into the court feeling like I was ready to rock and roll.

I'm still a work in progress, but in today's post, I will share the secrets I live and die by today to keep my mind sharp and my confidence soaring as I navigate some of the most gut-wrenching and challenging child custody cases.

I hope these tips help you feel relief as you continue down your custody road. Believe me, sometimes I, too, feel lost, less than, and lacking in hope.
